The Health Center in Avesta is located at the hospital in Avesta and has approximately 10,900 registered patients.

Do you want to work in a team together with other professional categories where everyone's competence is important to provide patients with good and safe care? Do you want to help continue developing our teamwork? We are now looking for another district doctor to join one of our teams. At the Health Center in Avesta, you will work alongside our other doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, occupational therapists, conversation therapists, and medical foot care therapists to collectively offer good and safe care with the patient in focus.

As a district doctor at the Health Center in Avesta, you will work with both planned and acute outpatient care, where you meet patients of all ages. As a district doctor with us, you will also have overall responsibility for the patients belonging to your team together with a nurse and a nursing assistant. Time is allocated twice a week for team rounds for patients in need of team-based interventions. Our ambition is for everyone to thrive, have the opportunity to develop in their professional role, and contribute with knowledge.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician and a specialist in general medicine
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal qualities such as independence, teamwork ability, and flexibility.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed healthcare professionals (HOSP) before any job offer is made.
